Our present computerised book catalogue includes over 1 000 titles, while our journal index has references to more than 8 000 articles.  As soon as journals are received they are indexed and the database updated, making our index very up-to-date, a feature of our library of which we feel justifiably proud.  The book stock is sorted into thirty categories of law and current books are kept separately from superseded ones.  We have an extensive collection of Law Reports and the Reference collection includes a number of legal dictionaries and directories.

Provincial legislation includes documents relating to Natal, KwaZulu and KwaZulu-Natal.  Government gazettes date back to 1910.  Both national and provincial statutes have been indexed back to 1987.  Access to a number of electronic resources is available in our libraries.  The Consumer Price Index and Interest Rates are also available online.
