Najwa denied appeal - 31 July
The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein on Friday dismissed an application by Najwa Petersen and Abdoer Emjedi for leave to appeal against their sentences for killing Peterson's musician husband Taliep. Petersen is serving a 28-year sentence for the murder. - IOL website
