SA seeks legal advice on indicting al-Bashir - 23 July
The South African government is seeking legal advice on how to respond to the international arrest warrant against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. Deputy Director General of Multilateral Affairs at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, George Nene, on Wednesday said government would decide if there was any conflict of interest between a recent AU resolution that was passed and its International Criminal Court (ICC) commitments. - BuaNews Online website
