Lotter costs 'would wipe out estate' - 14 July
If Hardus and Nicolette Lotter are allowed to use their slain parents' money to fund their defence on murder charges, it could drain the estate. This is the caution of Jan Abraham Nel, the executor of Johan and Riekie Lotters' estate, in an affidavit filed with the Durban High Court. -

Twist to ex-lovers' saga -1 5 July
The legal spat between a Chatsworth businessman and his daughter's ex-boyfriend, a Durban doctor, took another turn in the Durban High Court, this week. Judge Fikile Mokgohloa on Monday granted an interim order against Deochand Devipersad, a cartage contractor of Peach-tree Close, Umhlatuzana. In terms of the order, Devipersad was interdicted from attempting to harass, assault, and verbally abuse Dr Sunil Bissoon, of Hillmed Centre, Stella Road, Hillary. Devipersad, was also interdicted from defaming Bissoon, publishing any material of a defamatory nature and damaging the doctor's property or inciting any third party from doing same. -
