Lotter lawyer leaves as money dries up - 27 November
The lawyer representing Nicolette and Hardus Lotter, who are accused of killing their parents, on Friday withdrew his services to the pair. Danie Grundlingh asked the Durban High Court to allow him to withdraw after the court's decision not to allow the Lotters to use their deceased parents' money to pay their legal fees. The case was adjourned to December 4 to allow the Lotters to get another lawyer from the Legal Aid Board. - IOL website

Lotter pair may be cut off from family money - 9 December
Christelle Lotter, sister of Nicolette and Hardus, who are accused of murdering their parents, is persisting with her court bid to stop her siblings from getting any of their parents' money. If she has her way, they will be disinherited before they stand trial on the murder charges next year. - IOL website
